Our Statement

The mission of Sola Scriptura College and Seminary seeks to equip both current and future ministry servants as well as church members eager to study the Scriptures, desiring its final outcome to be

“…the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a full grown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12-13, ASV) therefore the mandated of the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ of being His witnesses to the whole world may be accomplished in and through this generation.

Our Philosophy

Sola Scriptura College and Seminary was founded out of a need for accessible and affordable Theological education, and ultimately degrees, for all those who labor in God’s service. The high standard of administration, instruction, and guidance is reflected by the institution’s dedicated faculty and staff. Sharing a common goal, students can be assured the Christian way is also SSCS’s way.

Students will find SSCS’s tuition costs to be intentionally lower when compared to similar educational institutions. Recognizing that the income of those who labor for the Master does not compare favorably with other demanding professions, SSCS strives to keep tuition costs and study materials fees reasonably priced.

Our Statement of Faith

The ministry, instruction, and curriculum of the Sola Scriptura College and Seminary is entirely Bible centered and based. The Holy Bible is depicted in the SSCS Corporate seal and logo representing our philosophy.

As an evangelical institution, we believe in and teach the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament as the inspired Word of God, the eternal and final authority in Christian faith and life. Each of our programs is taught from a Christian perspective with professors who view teaching as a ministry.

Our Faith is in Our Heavenly Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit as revealed in the Bible. Our belief is complete in His Holy Word as it is written, nothing added, nothing taken away.

The faculty and administration of SSCS encourages all students to remain faithful to their beliefs, never seeking to persuade one to change denomination. Our joyous duty is to live, share, and teach His Holy Word.

Our Accreditation

Sola Scriptura College and Seminary is an accredited member of the Accrediting Commission International. ACI, the world’s largest non-government related accrediting association, is not connected with any State Department of Higher Education or the U.S. Department of Education. All credits are transferable to the other 316 members of ACI.
