The material presented in this manual is written primarily to provide the information necessary to those studying theology at college level. In addition, this manual deals with some special topics which have generated intense debate and have led to various interpretations throughout the history of Christianity.
Some of these topics are for the master’s level and are placed in the special boxes with a green background. Each chapter is preceded by several introductory questions and some new terms that the reader will encounter in that chapter. Also, at the end of each chapter there are some review questions designed to help the reader understand even better the most important issues discussed in that chapter.
Although the book is written to be a study manual in evangelical theological schools, it is very useful to pastors and preachers of the Gospel, as it provides them with the foundation for the correct interpretation of Biblical passages.
Another purpose is to familiarize readers with different interpretations of key passages and themes for Christian doctrine. It is the burning desire of the author, that this manual awakens the readers` passion to deepen their knowledge of the New Testament and, of course, to put them into practice in their personal lives.
